I was dreaming of a car
a swedish station wagon
I'd fill it with my friends and guitars
We'd drive off into the woods
and we'd sing away the feeling of insects drinking all our blood
And the night would never end
When I bury all my dreams, you'll be dancing on the grave
I was dreaming of a house
with a dirty couch in the yard
A drum kit in the kitchen
We would share the rent
And take turns buying coffee
The fun would never end
When I bury all my dreams, you'll be dancing on the grave
I see it on your frown
The disbelief
I see it on your frown
How can I dream,
When I've got a life to lead?
Am I naive or do I pretend?
And why does it take so long for this to end?
Buy this if you like the 80's melodic hardcore sound of the Descendents. Every song is good and short in true 80's hardcore form, the way it's supposed to be. This is the next best album in my opinion after Milo Goes To College. The original lineup are the ones who wrote and perform the songs on this album! It even sounds like they used the same exact instruments, just with higher recording quality. You NEED this if you're a huge Descendents fan! Brett
